Talk:Chromia (ROTF)
Fiction snip?
If Chromia isn't, well, Chromia in the fiction but another Arcee, shouldn't we get rid of the fiction section for the moment? - Charles RB, 12:25 25 June 2009 (GMT)
- We can have the fiction on both pages, with appropriate name changes and notes to say Chromia is just a component of Arcee in the movie, but is a separate character as far as Hasbro is concerned. --FFN 07:30, 25 June 2009 (EDT)
Main picture
Isn't the current main picture supposed to be of Arcee's combined form, not Chromia alone? It may have her colors (so either it's a miscolor, or the combined form does end up completely blue), but that definitely isn't her solo design - no wheel above the head, for a start. - Actually you're right, that's not Chromia, that actually looks more like the purple one. And I think this image has been posted twice on tfw2005, once shooped to let it look like the combined form and once this exact one with the poster claiming that the scanner was a little iffy as it's not supposed to be blue but purple. Right arm
The toy section claims that the stand can attach to the right arm, but this is not mentioned in the instructions, and I certainly can't figure out how to do it (it looks like it could attach to the left arm, but it would end up aiming at her face). Could someone clarify?KrytenKoro 18:21, 28 June 2009 (EDT)
- I'm with you: until someone can show a way that the cannon can attach to her arm, I cut that bit out of the article. A lot of the toy section read like it had been written by someone who had never actually seen the packaging, and just assumed the press photos were the same that would be on the back of the card. I tried to fix all that, but I'd still like to see someone get Chromia to stand steadily with the support thing turned backwards. --Buttbutt 19:21, 2 July 2009 (EDT)
- I've got it set up like that right now. Make sure you don't have it like shown on the box, but with the guns pointing up (they are different lengths, making it impossible to balance with the guns on the ground).KrytenKoro 11:34, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
Toy Issue
Has anyone else had a problem with their Chromia toy? On mine, her chest refused to stay connected. It's similar to the problem with Movie Brawl's arms. I don't know if it's a mold problem or just on my figure.Riddlerj 19:28, 3 July 2009 (EDT) 98.235.18.165 19:14, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
Oops. Another thing. A rumor I heard for a while was that the gun stand can connect to her right arm (the arm with a hand). There are two posts on the gun that line up with two holes on the inside of that arm as if it was meant to attach there. Unfortunately, it slides right back out. Does anyone else know if this was a once intended feature or just a coinidink? Riddlerj 19:45, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
