When Cobra stole Power Station Alpha, Ace and the other G.I. Joe pilots chased after it and attacked its Rattler escort. Although the battle went in the Joes' favor, the enemy got away by holding a nearby cruise ship hostage. Power Struggle
Not long afterwards, the Decepticons stole the power station, forcing Ace to join up with the airborne Cobra and Autobot forces for a preemptive attack on the Decepticon headquarters. He chose to stay out of the way of Superion and Devastator's duel, and eventually went home when Power Station Alpha was destroyed. ...All Fall Down!
G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers
Ace's squad took to the air when the Joes came under attack from Cobra fighter jets. The speed and maneuverability of the Cobra Rattlers took Ace by surprise, but that was nothing compared to the shock of seeing one of them suddenly turn into a giant robot.
