Millions of years ago shortly before the Autobot Rebellion, A3 was in the Empty Lands when a portal formed and took him to the distant future. He believed it was the work of the Quintessons, who were the only ones who had the power to pull him from the Empty Lands. Forever Is a Long Time Coming
