Generation 1 reissues

Many of the original Generation 1 Transformers toys have been reissued several times.

• Classics - A Hasbro European-market line of old-toy re-releases from the early 1990s.

• Transformers Collection - The 2000 Takara series of "bookbox"-style reissues. Also includes numerous toys made available only through Takara's e-Hobby service.

• Commemorative Series - The 2000 Hasbro US-market, predominantly Toys "R" Us exclusive series of reissued toys that was similar to the Transformers Collection releases.

• Transformers Encore - The 2007 TakaraTomy series of classic-style reissues. Includes some figures never before re-released, such as Omega Supreme, Metroplex and Sky Lynx.
