Professor Green is a human from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Professor Green is a scientist who just wants to help the Autobots defend Earth against the Decepticons. To this end, he invented the Ultraplane, an unmanned drone aircraft which can be operated remotely.

Professor Green proudly demonstrated his Ultraplane to Optimus Prime, Jazz, Hound and Mirage, who all made impressed noises. Evidently the Decepticons were impressed enough to regard the Ultraplane as a threat. To Professor Green's distress, Starscream "discretely" destroyed his invention with some sort of grenade. The Autobots soon worked out who was behind it, and rushed off to protect the Ultraplane blueprints from the Decepticons. Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1
