Mighty Muggs

Mighty Muggs is a collectible toyline released by Hasbro in 2008. It consists of cute, super deformed characters, all made using the same mold (with the occasional retool). The line includes characters from various franchises, including G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Marvel Comics. In 2009, Transformers got in on the action with its most popular Generation 1 characters, but that section of the line was apparently canceled before its third wave could be released. However, new figures were displayed at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con, with display information that the canceled 3rd Wave would be released, along with two new figures, in the fall of that year.
