Brains... brains!

Cliffjumper is Optimus Prime's crack shot sniper, and possibly his most trusted friend and ally. In fact, he's a rather friendly and trusting individual in general provided you're not one of his enemies. (In which case he'll rather enjoy seeing you thrown into the smelting pool.) Unfortunately, he also tends to frequently end up being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Fiction

Shattered Glass

When Optimus Prime sent "freelancers" to off Sideswipe in an ambush near Darkmount, Cliffjumper happened to be in the area, and accidentally got caught in the crossfire and killed. Dungeons & Dinobots

Three stellar cycles later, when the "normal" Cliffjumper arrived he was initially mistaken as this universe's Cliffjumper by both the Autobots and the Decepticons. Though Sideswipe knew he wasn't the "real" Cliffjumper, as he had witnessed the "real" Cliffjumper's death during the ambush. Shattered Glass

When Cliffjumper, Sideswipe, Rodimus, and Blurr tried attacking Grimlock in the Omega Terminus chambers, the computer reanimated several corpses—including Cliffjumper's and Drench's—as zombies for a defense. Though the Cliffjumper corpse put up quite a fight, the living Cliffjumper eventually disabled it by throwing scraplets at it. Rodimus then rammed the Cliffjumper corpse into another of the corpses, while Cliffjumper ripped off his dead twin's arm and used it to "infect" the Drench corpse. All three corpses were quickly devoured by the scraplets and reduced to dust. Dungeons & Dinobots

Notes

  • According to Sideswipe, the "normal" Cliffjumper not only looks like the "real" one, but also talks like the "real" one. The only difference of appearance between them is their colors. Which means even a Cliffjumper from mirror-verse is a redeco of Bumblebee, poor guy.
  • The different colors in question are dull navy and gunmetal grey.
  • Of course, that universe's Bumblebee has a different body now.
