- Lightspeed is an evil Autobot Technobot from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
Lightspeed's instinctive abilities make him one of the best racers on Cybertron, but when it comes to actual knowledge, he's far better at quantum physics than he is at the more technical aspects of racing.
His shortcomings in knowledge extend to understanding other beings as well. He lacks empathy for other people's feelings, and a problem with his sensors means he sometimes can't even tell the difference between his fellow Autobots, period.
He combines with the other Technobots to form Computron.
Fiction
Shattered Glass
Lightspeed and his Technobot teammates had followed Alpha Trion before the Old One was banished to another dimension. When Alpha Trion returned from his exile to his laboratory, the Technobots were among the ones who came to rejoin his service and help detain Breakaway, Landquake, and Topspin. Reunification: Part 1
The three were able to escape, however, and eventually Computron (including Lightspeed) was sent out to find and deal with them. The three's most recent visitor Aquarius was able to delay Computron's arrival with a "slow time" bubble, but eventually the bubble faded and Computron tore the roof off the building. Reunification: Part 3

- Lightspeed's appearance is based on the original Generation 1 Technobot Lightspeed, only colored like the Terrorcon Blot.
