- Shrapnel is a character in the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
A resident of the Jungle Planet, Shrapnel served as a bodyguard to that world's ruler, Scourge, when Scourge's reign was just beginning. A reliable fellow who never spoke an ill word about anyone, he lost this job thanks to the devious tactics of Undermine. When Undermine fabricated an audio message of Shrapnel calling Scourge a "smoke-ring blowing sissy," the dictator angrily dismissed Shrapnel from his service, and Undermine assumed his former position.[1]
