Sandstorm, along with the rest of Remote Patrol Six, was dispatched to scan the Plait Expanse's radiation in an attempt to escape Cybertron. They were also harbouring Hound from Optimus Prime, as Hound had faked his death when Rodimus and Goldbug threw everyone who was deemed too loyal to Prime off the Ark. He managed to stop an argument between Powerglide and Hound from turning into a fight when he reported that he had discovered a strange signal. Do Over
