Knok is an Autobot Powermaster partnered with Doubledealer in the Generation 1 continuity family.
Who's there?

Knok is the Powermaster partner of Doubledealer. Though loyal to the Autobot cause, he's also a money-grubbing little fellow, making him a good match for the ambitious Doubledealer whose business office he helps run.

When transformed into Doubledealer's power-supply engine, Knok allows him to transform to his humanoid robot mode. Little does Knok suspect the true levels of Doubledealer's duplicity—he is totally unaware of Doubledealer's Decepticon form, or the other Powermaster partner that enables it.

Commercial appearances

Knok is the blurry little thing, not to be confused with the blurry large things that are Optimus Prime and Doubledealer. (Hasbro, can we get these commercials on DVD pleeeeeeeeeease?)

Knok appears very briefly in the television commercial for Doubledealer; after Doubledealer speaks with Optimus Prime, he transforms to missile carrier mode. Knok then transforms and attaches to him. Knok is not visible when Doubledealer arrives at the Decepticon camp.

Toys

Generation 1

  • Doubledealer (Powermaster, 1988)
Knok is one of two Powermaster engine figures that came with Doubledealer. Like most Powermaster engines, he transforms by wrapping his legs around himself sideways.

Notes

  • Unlike most *master partners, it has never been made explicit that Knok is a Nebulan or even an organic. More Than Meets the Eye refers to both him and Skar as "Transformers".
