- While not explicitly stated, this follows on from Bumblebee being reassigned to Sam at the end of Alliance issue 4.
- This is now the Fifth time that Barricade has turned up in ROTF-era fiction, despite not being in the actual film and only having a handful of spin-off toys. I guess everyone just loves Barricade!
- Sam's parents are already aware of Bumblebee, though like in the second film it's not stated when they became aware.
- Miles totally perved on Mikaela's friend and you know it.
