Peace

I always thought the dog's name was Peace and even now I prefer Peace over Pis or Pisu.

Could the Japanese spelling support "Peace" as being the dog's name or is the Japanese word for Peace completely different? 90.242.193.102 19:37, 29 August 2009 (EDT)

"PIS" is on the poor dog's headstone, so moving the article would be a tough sell. - Starfield 19:51, 29 August 2009 (EDT)
Not to mention that "peace" would be written ピース in katakana, while the dog's name is ピス.--Apcog 19:54, 29 August 2009 (EDT)

Now that I'm thinking about it, are pet grave markers in Japan often written in the Latin alphabet? - Starfield 20:48, 29 August 2009 (EDT)

Can't say as it's ever come up in conversation with any Japanese person I know, but it's a moot point, as the dog in this case was in America.--Apcog 21:14, 29 August 2009 (EDT)
