Great Maximus is an unknown quantity from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Virtually nothing is known about Great Maximus. Evidently a revered entity (object? concept?), Autobots are known to swear by his (its?) name.

  • Dude's name might not even be "Great Maximus"—it could just be "Maximus," and Beachcomber might just be using the "great" as an exclamation, like "great balls of fire" or "great leapin' horny-toads" or whatever.
