Mutant (G1)

The name or term "Mutant" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Mutant (disambiguation).

The Mutants are a group of neutral Cybertronians from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Mutants rule the Underworld, some of Cybertron's lowest levels. Basically they wander around and kill anyone brave or stupid enough to cross their path.

Known mutants include

• Jackhammer
• Guttersnipe
• Meathook
• Rotgut
• Sawtooth
• Slayride
• Smeltdown
• Warhead

It is unknown just how many mutants exist. It is also uncertain just what manner of "mutant" these mutants are. Their bodies are certainly unconventional and they do not appear to be able to transform, but how they got this way again remains untold.
