The Inhumanoids are increadibly powerful ancient monsters that have long been inprissoned beneath the Earth. Five known Inhumanoids exist: Metlar, Tendril, D-Compose, Sslither, and Gargoyle. The Inhumanoids were caged below the Earth long ago by the elemental Mutores. The team of human explorers and adventurers known as [[Earth Force] formed to combat the creatures.

The Inhumanoids was a Hasbro toyline in the 1980s. As with other shows of the time Sunbow produced an animated Inhumanoids show. A number of characters crossing over between these Hasbro/Sunbow shows (Transformers, G.I. Joe, Jem and the Holograms, and Inhumanoids) have led many fans to consider them as all taking place in one unified Sunbow cartoon universe.
