Space bridge

The Space Bridge was built by Cybertron's Decepticons, under the command of Straxus, in response to the discovery that Megatron's lost group of Decepticons was alive and had set up camp on Earth. Resembling an Earthen suspension bridge in its design, the Bridge consisted of two sections, one of which remained stationary on cybertron while the other was teleported to Earth. Passing through the bridge's central arch would transport objects across vast distances, instantly and painlessly. The Bridge was built from the vast body of Spanner, the neutral scientist who had been captured by Stracu's forces and forced to design the bridge.

Although a properly functioning space Bridge is a far more pleasant mode of transportation than the more efficient Autobot response, the Trans-Time Dimensional Portal, an improperly calibrated Space Bridge will annihilate any object or being who attempts to pass through its arch.

Unicron Trilogy

Space bridges are the main mode of traveling in the Unicron Trilogy. In Cybertron, the combined power of the Matrix and Vector Prime's sword Rhisling can make space bridges.
