Transform and Roll Out

Aside from the pack-in disc, DVD releases of the Transformers Animated series are handled by the home entertainment division of Paramount Pictures.

Paramount releases

United States

The American releases feature full-screen video and stereo sound in both English and Spanish.

  • Transform and Roll Out (June 22, 2008)
A single DVD containing the feature-length premiere "Transform and Roll Out".
Also includes the first two unaired shorts, "Career Day" and "Evel Knievel Jump".
A Two-disc set containing the complete first season, from "Home Is Where the Spark Is" to "Megatron Rising - Part 2".
Also includes a season 2 "sneak peek" photo gallery.
A Two-disc set containing the entirety of season 2, from "The Elite Guard" to "A Bridge Too Close, Part II", with audio commentary on selected episodes.
Also includes the shorts "Starscream Heckles Megatron" and "Explosive Punch" and a photo gallery.

United Kingdom

For the UK market, each season is split across three single-disc "volumes". These discs also feature full-screen video, but have audio and subtitles in English and German.

Contains the feature-length premiere "Transform and Roll Out" and the shorts "Career Day" and "Evel Knievel Jump".

Germany saw the same releases as the UK. The covers are the same as above, only with the German titles in place of the English text.

This DVD was included with the Optimus Prime vs. Megatron deluxe toy twin-pack.
It includes the first part of "Transform and Roll Out", but features a longer title sequence that features the full uncut version of the theme song and the stock transformation footage of each of the main Autobot cast.
Also on the disc is a photo gallery of the first wave of Animated toys; Cybertron mode Optimus, Bumblebee, Lockdown and Prowl, as well as the Voyager class Megatron, Bulkhead and Starscream.
