Even though he was originally announced to write the second Generation 1 volume as well, he was eventually replaced by James McDonough Brad Mick, while Simon Furman took over Armada starting with issue 6. As Dreamwave spiralled towards bankruptcy, James McDonough (formerly "Brad Mick") and Adam Patyk were fired, and Sarracini was slated to return to the Generation 1 title starting with issue 11, but Dreamwave died before the issue would be properly solicited.
