Dr. Arkeville was kidnapped by Starscream, who used several of his inventions with the intention of using them to blow up the Earth, and then siphon all the released energy. The Doctors attempt to stop this resulted in a near-lethal shock. He later woke up, tied to a chair being completely rebuilt into a robot body in order to save his life.[1]
