Richard Marcej (1961-) is an artist responsible for several pieces of Generation 1 package art, including many of the Predacons, Headmasters, Targetmasters, Powermasters, Seacons and Pretenders. He is also resposible for the some of the battle scenes depicted in post-1986 back-of-the-box package art. He also did work for G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Gremlins, and Army Ants, the last of which products he designed..

Marcej graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and began working for Hasbro in the fall of 1983. He particular likes to depict the Dinobots
