Plutonium Energy Generator

The Plutonium Energy Generator is a power source from the cartoon portion of the Robots in Disguise continuity family.

The Plutonium Energy Generator does what it says on the tin. If damaged, it leaks zirconium gas, which has the potential to corrode Transformer micro-circuitry.

The Predacons really really want it for its energy generating capabilities.

Optimus Prime and the Autobot Brothers prevented Slapper, Gas Skunk and Dark Scream from stealing the generator from a warehouse late at night. The next day, the brothers escorted the generator as it was loaded onto a truck and transported across town. The Predacons managed to engineer a traffic jam, and the operation ground to a halt long enough for the dastardly trio to snatch the generator from its truck.

With the Autobot Brothers stuck, T-AI called in three of the Spy Changers, who chased the Predacons onto a sea shore. There, the other three Spy Changers joined the fight and they ran rings around the enemy. After a short stint in Sky-Byte's mouth, the generator was passed back to Slapper and Gas Skunk.

The battle soon swung in the Autobots' favour, and Sky-Byte opted for the "if we can't have it, no one can" plan, firing on the generator. The Spy Changers attempted to protect the generator with their own bodies, and were blasted aside, allowing the Predacons to grab it and escape.

Optimus was disappointed at the loss, until Hot Shot revealed the generator hidden under a sheet — the Predacons had escaped with a fake. Spychangers to the Rescue
