Hi, I'm also active as Alienbot on TFW2005.

Personal canon

Before time began, there was the All Spark Cube. It created the planet Cybertron, and life evolved from the energon radiation that emanated and pooled around the Cube. A powerful race known as the Primes led the newly emerged autonomous robotic organisms. They determined similar characteristics in solar energy to energon, and arrived on a planet called Earth to build a solar harvester to recharge the Cube if its power waned Defiance issue 4 around 17,000 BC. However, six of the Primes took pity on the carbon-based lifeforms on the planet, particularly seeing potential for a similar emotional and intellectual range in bipedal primates later known as humans.

One Prime however, did not care and was ready to activate the device: civil war erupted, and the Matrix of Leadership that was created by the Cube Revenge of the Fallen (novel) to power the harvester was stolen from the Fallen Prime. The others sacrificed their bodies to form a Tomb to hide the Matrix. The Fallen sent Seekers to search the universe for the Matrix, some of whom returned to Earth. The Fallen crashed his ship and withered, while the descendants of the other Primes established a powerful, peaceful and just Empire on Cybertron. Knowledge of the Primes was lost since no one recorded this information, relying on the All Spark's memory.

The current Prime, Optimus, befriended Lord Megatron, to the point he considered him a brother. But Megatron discovered the Fallen and was enraptured with his martial philosophies: he became the new leader of the Decepticons, and attempted to claim the Cube so he could sustain his army - and if necessary, create drones from the technologies of worlds he enslaved. Cybertron was ruined, Optimus launched the Cube into space for its own good, Movie Prequel issue 1 and so the war spread across the universe as the Autobots and Decepticons searched every world for it. Megatron traced it to Earth, where it had landed in the Colorado River around 10,000 BC because it was drawn to the harvester, Defiance issue 4 but he crashed in the Arctic and was entombed in the ice.

Archibald Witwicky found Megatron in 1897 AD, and in desperation he blasted the coordinates to the Cube's location onto his glasses, resulting in Witwicky hallucinating Cyberglyphics and going insane. The US government investigated his story and found Megatron and the Cube. President Hoover founded Sector Seven, which built the Hoover Dam to mask the Cube's energy, and conducted energon experiments to give their devices life (though this unnatural life only created beasts the Autobots had always feared Megatron would create). One experiment caused the Three Mile Island accident. Movie Prequel issue 4 They studied Megatron to build the Ghost 1 in 1969, which alerted the Transformers to Earth. S7 also moved Megatron to the Dam, and he became briefly active. Ghosts of Yesterday All the while, they ignored evidence of the Seekers dotted around the planet in stasis lock. Starscream's unit arrived on Mars in 2003, destroying the Beagle 2 Rover. Movie Prequel issue 3

The United States military allied with the Autobots during the attack in Mission City, and they joined with other national miltaries in a group called NEST to replace S7. It was agreed to continue official government word on the Transformers' existence silent. The Cube was destroyed, and a remaining fragment was kept at Diego Garcia, while a stasis locked Megatron was buried in the Laurentian Abyss. The Fallen appointed Starscream his steward, and decreed he breed the next generation of Decepticons, who were dying without an energon source. Soundwave sent more Decepticons to Earth, many of whom were intercepted and killed by NEST, and set a watch on Sam Witwicky. Optimus began recording their history in a series of messages.
