Ginrai is hired by producer Billy Hyler to appear in a film, and he is introduced to the director, S. Pakinper. Mr. Pakinper gives Ginrai enthusiastic instructions on how to drive down a desert highway rigged with special-effect explosives. Ginrai deftly drives between the staged explosions, until his truck is suddenly launched into the air by a blast not on the map! As his cab and trailer are hurled apart, the engineers of this villainy are revealed—Hyler is, in fact, a disguised Hydra, and Buster was responsible for setting the charge! Once the Decepticons reveal themselves, Mr. Pakinper wisely heeds Ginrai's plea to escape to safety. Super Ginrai Gets Blown Away in the Desert!?

• S. Pakinper is a reference to Sam Peckinpah, an American film director whose credits include The Getaway and (appropriately) Convoy. In addition to the name, S. Pakinper bears a physical resemblance to the late Peckinpah as well.
