Bruce Witwicky (aka Buzz Witwicky) is, as his name suggests, part of the Witwicky family, and the only one who has an actual job, working as a military sergeant at Burpleson Air Force Base.

Fiction

Bruce Witwicky deactivated Burpleson Air Force Base's external weapons in order to help his brothers, and by extension, the Autobots. He likely managed to escape when Heatwave arranged for the base to evacuated and destroyed by a Global Orbital Defense Satellite. Eye in the Sky
