Organic goo is a substance from the Beast Machines portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
...and it loves Motown!

Organic goo is miraculous stuff! A brightly-colored liquid which comes from Cybertron's organic core, organic goo can, among other things, cause plants to spontaneously grow, revert a Transformer from a technomatter state, and override Megatron's Vehicon reprogramming. It's a very handy thing to have if you happen to be trying to restore the organic element to Cybertron.

While trying to dig up water from Cybertron's core, the Maximals stumbled instead on organic goo, which made their orchard spring up where there had been only seeds moments before. Tankor subsequently used the Key to Vector Sigma to turn some of the Maximals into technomatter, and they discovered that the goo also seemed to cure the condition, returning them to their technorganic state. Optimus Primal was able to use a Mole Drone to dig up a whole geyser of goo, curing everyone. The Key

Rattrap used Cybertron's computers to search for more organic goo and stumbled on a catalyst, planted in the computer by Tankor. The catalyst greatly augmented the effects of the goo they had, causing the plants to sprout out-of-control into a torrent of vines. Meanwhile, Blackarachnia used a sample of the stuff on Thrust, causing him to revert to his pre-Vehicon personality, which unfortunately for her turned out to be Waspinator. Through using the goo on Jetstorm, she discovered that it was he who was Silverbolt, and the lovers were temporarily united. The Catalyst

Rattrap later used a combination of the goo, catalyst program and seeds to create grenades which instantly covered Vehicons in a growth of vines. End of the Line Blackarachnia dunked Jetstorm into a pool of the stuff, along with a DNA scanner, and was able to reformat him into Silverbolt. In Darkest Knight The core of Cybertron was shown to be swimming in the stuff. Endgame Pt. III: Seeds of the Future
