"Battle in the Desert Valley" is a promotional poster that was available from Hi-C brand fruit drinks. In addition to featuring a short blurb about a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, it also serves as a calendar!

Synopsis
The sinister Decepticons have set their sights on a powerful energy source, Boulder Dam. However, the heroic Autobots are there to foil their evil schemes. That's about it, really.

Notes
- The art is extremely toy-accurate, down to the embarrassing lack-of-a-butt created by Megatron's transformation.
- Jazz is clearly mistransformed.
- The whole "Optimus and Megatron fight near/around/on top of a dam" meme reappears here. It also appears in a different mail-away poster, The Power Struggle. This one is particularly of note (as much as any of these things are actually "of note") because the variant name "Boulder Dam" is used, as opposed to the more common "Sherman Dam."
- The poster also included a set of stickers featuring art from the poster, as well as some really unusual headshots of what appear to be Prime, Megatron, Prowl, and ...man, I dunno. Starscream? Prowl also appears in vehicle mode on the sticker sheet, despite not actually appearing on the poster.
- The reverse side of the poster features adapted tech-spec data for Optimus Prime, Megatron, Hound, Soundwave, and Starscream.
