Striker is a Dinobot (BM) from the Beast Machines era of Generation 1.

Striker is extremely dedicated to theMaximal cause. Methodical and deliberate in combat Striker doesn't need T-Wrecks and his Dinobot allies to send scores of Vehicons to the scrapyard. Rumor hints that he's actually one of the original Generation 1 Dinobots, abducted by Unicron.

(Striker's stegosaur alt-mode and energy receptive plates suggest him as a new incarnation of Snarl (G1). And indeed this mold was used as Dinobot Snarl in the sadly story/bio-lacking Wal-mart Dinobot sets. The tail's earthquake ability could also suggest Sludge, but on the whole Snarl seems more likely.)

Beast Machines

Striker was a surviving Transformer on Cybertron during Megatron's reign. Along with a group of like survivors he was reformated by the Oracle into a a new technorganic dinosaur form, using DNA information from the dead Beast Wars Maximal Dinobot. Thus the new Dinobot team was born to aid in the fight against the Vehicon hordes.

Wreckers

The Dinobots were tricked and sent on a suicide mission.

Toy

Striker is a repaint of the Beast Wars Neo Destron Saberback. He transforms into a Stegosaur and has a third mode that's supposed to look like a dead stegosaur with a gieant flower growing out of it. Seriously.

The Beast Machines Dinobots are consistantly refered to as being technorganic in nature despite their toys having none of the visual cues that and styling present on the toys that were designed to be technorganic.
