Loosely based on the real-world AH-1 Cobra, the Dragonfly was first introduced to the G. I. Joe arsenal in 1983 and immediately became their standard assault helicopter. The typical pilot is Wild Bill, who frequently has Airborne as his gunner; however, other Joes are certified to operate it as well.
