The Cauldron drones live in the molten seas that surround the Cauldron, a dimension hidden within Unicron. When recently-abucted Transformers emerge from the Pit, they rise up from their fiery home and, usually after a fight, escort the abductees to the arena. Like their victims, the Cauldron drones too can transform. But while Transformers have a limited number of forms, the Cauldron drones can seemingly convert into any shape.
Some of them prefer to silently view the gladiator battles that occur within.

Cauldron drones overwhelmed a group of abductees (Silverbolt, Blackarachnia, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Roulette, and Shadow Striker) and took them to the Cauldron arena. Cauldron drones were also inside, watching a battle between Smokescreen and Smokescreen. Abduction
