The term Classics has been applied to three Transformers toylines.

• 1989 — Pretender Classics, a subline of Pretenders that featured returning characters.
• 1990 — Classics, a European exclusive subline of Generation 1 reissues.
• 2006 — Classics, a franchise set in the Generation 1 continuity family, featuring redesigns of prominent characters alongside all-new characters.

The term Classics sometimes could also mean the characters from early in the Generation 1 toyline.
