Talk:Cyber Key
From MediaWiki
- I would suggest that the show implies the non-Cybertron type Cyber Keys to be powered by their MacGuffin progenitors, the Cyber Planet Keys. Furthermore, the likely explanation for locals having knowledge of keys and keys of their own is that they have remained in contact with the artifacts that spawn them. It could be that Vector Prime's use of his Universal-type Cyber Key triggered a reaction from Earth's Planet Key and the other key slots, activating them all. And Hot Shot's original key could well have been granted from Velocitron's Cyber Planet Key because, having spent so much time in an increasingly racing-oriented culture, the Key may have become attuned to racing-related thoughts. After all, the Cyber Planet Key on Jungle Planet reacted to Overhaul's emotions at a later point, reformatting him into Leobreaker. The initial activation of many keys has been shown to be caused by extreme emotion, and as their summoning is mentally triggered, this makes sense. There is a lot of precedent in the super powers department on that front. ZeldaTheSwordsman 17:34, 4 January 2010 (EST)
