Magna pulse

A magna pulse is a form of disruptive energy from the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A magna pulse is a disruptive burst of energy, possibly related to the electromagnetic pulses generated by nuclear weapons. It can disrupt the systems of both Maximal and Predacon vessels.

After a stasis pod crash-landed, Tarantulas activated a device which produced a magna pulse, disrupting the Axalon and Darksyde. While the two sides were thus occupied, he was able to reach the pod before the others could react, though his main aim was not the protoform, but the pod itself. Spider's Game
