Reverb (ROTF)
From MediaWiki
| The name or term "Reverb" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Reverb (disambiguation). |
- Reverb is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen franchise portion of the live-action film continuity family.

Reverb is one of the happiest Decepticons around, tackling his assignments with a zeal few others can match. Sure, most of his teammates are a bunch of Gloomy Gusses, but let 'em be. Reverb is having way too much fun just blowing things up and terrorizing the locals. A high-speed chase and things that are flammable, that's what life is all about!

Reverb had been sighted in Los Angeles, and NEST went in to capture him. However, Jolt went into action too soon, spooking Reverb and causing him to divert from his route. He successfully avoided the Autobot, only to get rammed head-on by Bumblebee. Culture Shock

Revenge of the Fallen
- Reverb (Scout, 2009)
- Reverb is a redeco of Knock Out, transforming into a red, white and blue racing motorcycle of undetermined model. In robot mode, he has a non-firing cannon for a right hand. The vehicle side panels, which become leg kibble in robot mode, are held in place by unbolted pegs and tend to pop off during conversion.
Notes
- Reverb's toy bio shares the same basic personality as the unpublished bio for the canceled toy of the same name from the 2007 movie toyline.
- Reverb was designed as an homage to Beast Wars Inferno. Aside from the color layouts (especially the head), his tampographs are references: "Calany Racing" is a rather unfortunate misspelling of "Colony Racing" (as in one of Inferno's most common phrases, "For the colony!"), plus the "97" refers to Inferno's release year (1997).
- That the cowling's "97" looks a lot like "26" in robot mode does not appear to have any significance.
