The Ottoman Confederacy is a great power on Earth from the "Shattered Glass" continuity.

Along with the Soviets and the British, the Ottoman Confederacy is one of three great powers capable of challenging the hegemony of the United States of America. They are apparently in this world's "nuclear club", yet President Colton considers them the least likely threat, owing to the professed pacifism of its leader, Abdul Fakkadi. Eye in the Sky

• In our non-mirror Quadwal universe, the Ottoman Sultanate held, at its peak, much of Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (where Carbombya lies in the G1 animated series). How much of this territory is comparably held by the Ottoman Confederacy in Shattered Glass is nigh-impossible to determine (given the differences in geography and history that we have so far glimpsed), but the mentions so far suggest a (very rough) analogy.

• Similarly, we know that the House of Osman was important in some historical capacity (as the state is named for them), but they are presuambly not in charge now (owing to the mentions of Fakkadi as President).

Beyond that, well.... we don't really know (or can safely suppose) much else. More story, please?
