Was there ever an accepted reason as to why the Vok entered Tarantulas' body?

When calling the Decepticons "our ancestors", the Tripredicus Council was referring to the Predacons as a group, in the same way one might say that colonial Americans are the ancestors of modern day Americans, even if many individual modern day Americans are descended from immigrants who showed up later. - Buddy
