A synch-pulse transmitter is a spy device from the Beast Wars cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A synch-pulse transmitter is a bugging device which can transmit sound over long distances, even under conditions where regular comm-links fail to get a signal through. It has a small built-in cloaking device to render it invisible.

Fiction

Beast Wars cartoon

After the Maximals discovered the stasis pod that contained Protoform X, Megatron ordered Blackarachnia and Waspinator to secure the pod for the Predacon cause. Before they left, he planted a synch-pulse transmitter on Blackarachnia's back. Though it enabled him to eavesdrop on proceedings, Megatron failed to learn anything from Blackarachnia when Tarantulas's attempt to interrogate her on some matters of interest was cut short by Silverbolt. After sitting through hours of Blackarachnia and Silverbolt travelling together and having moments of sexual tension, Megatron finally overheard a vital fact that allowed him to subjugate Rampage.
