Proximax is a city on Cybertron from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Proximax is a Cybertronian city closest. The trans-hyperwave caster tower is located just outside of its borders.

During the meeting organized by Hacksaw to discuss the suspicious circumstances surrounding Modus Prime's death, Steel Wind attempted to tune in on the beacon signal transmittted by the trans-hyperwave caster tower. Through this, he found out the signal was being sabotaged. Hacksaw arranged for himself to go in alone first to see what the problem was, the Clear Skies Team functioning as backup would the need for it arise. At the tower, he found out the culprit was the Dirt Digger Team under orders of Broadside, who wanted to keep Cybertron for the Mini-Cons alone. In the ensuing struggle, Broadside found himself forced to kill Hacksaw. The New World
