The name or term "Twilight" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Twilight (disambiguation).
The Twilight is a Decepticon warship from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
Its skin, white despite the faint flush, literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were embedded in the surface.

The Twilight[1] is a Decepticon warship that served during the Great War millions of years ago.

Fiction

Before the Great War ended, the Twilight was involved in "an epic battle over a potent energy source" and crashed on the planet Archa Seven, burying itself beneath the planet's surface. The wreck and its cargo, a hoard of energon cubes, was never recovered.

Millions of years later, a trio of Autobot cadets consisting of Optimus, Sentinel and Elita-1 landed on Archa Seven, led by stories of the lost ship and a legendary cargo of "AllSpark-infused energon." Instead they discovered that the native spider creatures had nested in the wreck. While fighting for their lives the cargo of energon cubes detonated and seemingly obliterated the Twilight. Believing Elita-1 had perished, Optimus and Sentinel escaped.

Don't pretend you spotted this first time around, you big liar.

But the Twilight was not destroyed, merely buried. Elita-1 attempted to use her 'download' ability to absorb the spider creatures venom, but instead transformed into a techno-organic hybrid. Using a helmet from the wreckage to cover her disfigurement, Elita-1 adopted a new name— Blackarachnia— and left to start a new life among the Decepticons. Along Came a Spider
