Synopsis
A giant explosion rocks a city on Trigon, sending bits of buildings toppling. It turns out that Ironfist is the cause, in an attempt to combat a horde of giant insects that are swarming the city, though he nearly takes out his own squad as well. Unfortunately, the bugs are able to fly, so the explosion just ticks them off instead of harming most of them. The two Elite Guard squads fighting the bugs find themselves quickly swarmed by the attacking swarm as they fire their weapons, with every killing shot sending green goo flying everywhere—mostly landing on an annoyed Dion.
Eventually Metalhawk decides they need better tactics, and commands Over-Run to provide some aerial firepower. Though Landshark hopes that Metalhawk and Over-Run will show off their recent-acquired flying abilities, Over-Run instead sends one of his remote-controlled helicopters to eliminate the bugs with an impressive spray of firepower. Once the bugs are finally soundly defeated, the two squads decide to relax and take a bit of a break.

Notes
- This takes place 10 years after the events of "Wings of Honor".
- Landshark refers to Metalhawk and Over-Run as "upgrades"—presumably the Autobot slang for troops given new flying abilities, akin to "Skyraiders" referring to Decepticons upgraded with Skyquake's flying technologies.
- Over-Run still has his Action Master vehicle, though he can transform in this continuity.
