Chang

Chang is a human from the Super-God Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Chang is a young Chinese boy from Cancer's home town. A keen karate student, he made friends with Cancer when they trained together under the same sensei.

Chang and Cancer met while training at a dojo and became firm friends, until Cancer left town and joined the Decepticons as a Headmaster Junior. Chang continued to train, even after their sensei died and the dojo shut down. One training session was interrupted by a giant robotic creature warning of an impending attack. Though everyone fled, Chang tripped and was left behind... and the creature was revealed to be Cancer's Transtector. Chang was overjoyed to see his old friend, but took him to the derelict dojo, and broke the news about their sensei's death. Cancer was distraught and told Chang to flee before the attack started.

After Cancer had left, Chang went looking for his friend. He instead ended up in a building which caught fire during BlackZarak's attack. Cancer found him and began to carry him to safety, but was struck down by a stray blast from the raging battle. As Chang ran to find a safe haven, Cancer was buried in rubble. God Ginrai - Save Cancer!?
