Maximal Imperium

The Maximal Imperium is a group of Maximals from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

We spent so much on the video screens, we couldn't afford a table.

The Maximal Imperium is the governing body of the Maximals on Beast Era Cybertron (at least in IDW's Beast Wars continuity).

The three members of the Imperium are the "Right Honorable":

• Prowl
• Ironhide
• Silverbolt

They combine to form Magnaboss.

All three members have the function of "Maximal Elders", implying this is the same group as the Council of Elders Beast Wars Sourcebook, though they've not been called the Council and they don't work out of the Council Citadel. (If they are meant to be the Council, that means your favorite Autobots thought it'd be fun to create Protoform X, kids!)

The Imperium is concerned about rising strife threatening to blossom into a new civil war. They send their aide Ikard to bring them Big Convoy. He refuses to come, citing the importance of getting some control in the field, but sends Ikard back to let them know that Angolmois energy lies at the heart of the problem. The Ascending #2
