Gears is an Autobot from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action film continuity family.

How dare Hasbro make me a redeco of a Decepticon.

Gears likes complaining. It makes him happy. But more importantly, he knows that his fellow Autobots find his endless litanies amusing rather than annoying. And in a war that's run a few million years, a little laughter can make a big difference, so he keeps at it.

• Autobot Gears (Deluxe, 2009)

Gears is a redeco of Stockade, using Generation 1 Gears' traditional colours for his robot parts while transforming into a silver Cadillac Escalade SUV decorated with gear markings. His main gimmick is a gear-driven punch activated by pulling back on the luggage bar on either forearm. For whatever reason, his chestplate is removable(probably so he can make a complaint to hasbro quality control).
