The Ocean Research Institute of California is a location in the Super-God Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Ocean Research Institute of California is located on the coast of America. Its primary mission is the study of marine life, however it's run by Diver, who also happens to be an Autobot Pretender. It therefore often gets co-opted into the Autobots' war against the Decepticons.
