Randy is a powerhouse of a Maximal and a dedicated one at that. He can trample an enemy to the ground and then, just to drive the point home, he'll stamp them into the dirt. He is abnormally patient and can wait silently for days without even slightly getting bored. Randy is also honest to a fault, often blurting out truths that others might not find very flattering. This might explain why he never feels at home in a group or on a team. He prefers to work as a freelance Maximal for hire, willing to aid any Supreme Commander who may need his support.

Beast Wars Neo

Upon transformation to beast mode for this picture, something went "crack" and a spring fell out, accompanied by plastic dust. Yes, folks, this piece has succumbed to GPS.
  • Randy (Basic, 1999)
    • Japanese ID number: C-34
    • Accessories: "Charge Buster" mane-gun
A redeco of Razorbeast, Randy transforms into an organic warthog. He changes from beast to robot mode with a single-step spring-loaded transformation. His mane detaches to form a hand-held double-barreled blaster.
This toy is known to suffer from Gold Plastic Syndrome, so be very careful. Or, more reasonably, just accept that this toy will very likely break on you.

  • Sprinting Showdown: Randy VS Crazybolt (Basic, 1999)
    • Japanese ID number: VS-34
    • Accessories: "Charge Buster" mane-gun
Randy was also available in a two-pack with the Predacon Crazybolt. Both toys were identical to their individual releases.

Trivia

  • He has a surprisingly human name for a Transformer. However, it has an unfortunate slang meaning, like a few others.
