- The "to protect and to serve" seen on Prowl's door is the motto of the real-life Los Angeles Police Department, occasionally shortened to "to protect and serve."
- The panel that shows a body outline being drawn isn't true - real-life forensics would NEVER draw a dead body's position, as the photo evidence can be dismissable in court.
