Communicube

Communicubes are Cybertronian technology from the Generation 1 continuity family.

A device used for communicative purposes shaped like a cube — whoever invented the communicube didn't wish to waste too much time on naming it. When used, communicubes allow for direct communication between to areas and display the person on the other end on at least five sides of the cube. It is unclear whether the person that sends a communicube has one of their own or uses another kind of device to support the contact.

Springer gave Impactor a communicube from Xaaron after he and the other Autobot Triple Changers beat him up. Through the communicube, Xaaron explained Impactor that that had been for his own good because now he knew they'd make a proper replacement of Ultra Magnus in Operation: Volcano. An understandably frustrated Impactor crushed the communicube in response.

Just before Operation: Volcano reached its final stage, Astrotrain brought the Decepticon would-be targets a communicube from Megatron through which he ordered them all to return to Polyhex immediately. Target: 2006
