The name Punch has been assigned to two different characters:

• 1987 — Punch, the heroic Autobot double-agent, who is also known as Counterpunch, from Generation 1.

• 2009 — Punch, the evil Autobot journalist from Shattered Glass.

There is also a real-life person involved with the creation of Transformers named Punch UFO. He played Speedbreaker in Car Robots, the Japanese version of Robots in Disguise,
