Foldspace warhead

Foldspace warheads are weapons from the live-action film continuity family.

Foldspace warheads are Cybertronian weapons. While it is advisable not to be hit by one directly, they are not designed to do damage. Instead, the explosion caused by them teleports anything caught in its radius to a random location somewhere in space. Because of this unpredictability in their results, foldspace warheads are marked as illegal.

Megatron instructed his "pet weapon of mass destruction" Devastator to deal with the three Autobots—Ironhide, Jazz and Ratchet—that had had the audacity to try keep him from the AllSpark. To top it off, he had him bring along a foldspace warhead, despite that they were banned from usage deca-cycles ago. As Devastator prepared its launch, Ratchet pointed out that at that range all four of them would be hit by the warp-explosion. Devastator could not care less and got them all a single to some region of space.
