Talk:Scalpel's assistant
From MediaWiki
Er, where did the term come from? Scalpel wasn't even called Scalpel in the movie... —Interrobang 21:39, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- Sounds like it's just Jolt Volt's fan name for them. --Detour 21:58, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- Maybe it's something from a foreign version of the movie? He is from Brazil. --NCZ 22:04, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- Hey! I'm surprised these guys didn't have a page yet. If they don't have an official name, this is as good of a nickname as any other, but it should be lower case "tool". - Starfield 22:14, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- Are they called anything in the novelisation? --abates 22:28, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- In the novel there are three different kinds of little robots.
- A "pack of insectlike robots" - these have wings and fly around. They dropped the worm.
- One that "looked like a worm". This one violated Sam's mouth.
- Two "menacing little machines" that held open Sam's mouth while the worm entered.
- So the novel isn't helpful on names. - Starfield 22:43, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
- How about "Scalpel's tool" for the article name? There are two insecticon-type critters which drop the worm off, but the two "menacing" machines aren't in the movie. --abates 23:11, 22 May 2010 (EDT)

"Scalpel's assistants" sounds better IMO. Nice umbrella term for the lot of them.--Carrion 00:23, 23 May 2010 (EDT)
Deletion?
Why's this up for deletion? This isn't fanon; I'm fairly certain I remember these guys in the movie. If anything, the name is probably fanon, but that's it. --NCZ 22:15, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
